Programs at Mentionable Means Manageable Youth Advocacy In Schools:

Middle Schools, High Schools, and Continuation Schools: Adolescents experiencing overwhelming emotions or displaying behaviors that indicate struggles with their emotional identities can benefit from our school-based programs. These programs cater to students who may be grieving, feeling lost, alone, addicted, self-harming, children of addicts, survivors of abuse, or struggling with mental health issues, lack of motivation, and purpose. Our goal is to support these students in their healing journey and teach them to regulate emotional swings, opening doors to brighter futures.
School programs are held weekly on enrolled campuses, where students attend a group led by an advocate. These sessions focus on building healthier coping skills, emotional regulation, and inspiring personal growth.

Day Camps:

Our day camps are held off school grounds during school breaks to assist students with team-building and self-esteem enhancement. These camps offer a supportive environment for adolescents to grow and learn valuable life skills outside the classroom.

Second Saturday Monthly Events:

Held year-round, these events take place on the second Saturday of every month. Teens are dropped off and picked up between 12 p.m. and 8 p.m. at various local venues. During these events, participants engage in fun activities, community service, and peer support groups, which equip them with life tools and a greater sense of self.

Parent Participation Groups:

Parents can join our support group, held on the second Friday of every month from 6-8 p.m. in Ventura. Here, parents learn new perspectives on parenting, receive feedback on their current approaches, and discover how to set healthy limits. Parents will leave with the tools they need to build stronger relationships with their children, realizing that they are not alone on this journey.

Family Sleepover Weekend Camping Trips:

These annual camping trips are an incredible opportunity for families to bond. Parents must accompany their teens for the duration of the weekend. Activities are a mix of separate sessions for parents and teens, as well as group activities. Enjoy food, fellowship, and outdoor adventures, while improving communication and building stronger family ties. No camping experience is necessary, as you will learn alongside your teen!

Individual Adolescent and Family Sessions:

For more personalized support, we offer individual sessions for adolescents and families on a regular or as-needed basis. Real-time meditation calls are also available whenever required to provide immediate guidance and emotional support.
